I have 2 planes that i would like to convert from glow to electric. I have some experience with electrics but no enough to choose my own setup. I have a tower hobbies uproar 40 and a hobbico twinstar 25. I have read through alot of he post concerning these 2 planes but most are using "expensive" name brand motors and escs. Could someone recomend setups from a site like nitroplanes or hobbypartz? Gen Ace seems to have some resonably priced esc motor combos, but not surewhat i should choose. the uproar weights about 4 pounds and the twinstar 5-6 pounds if that info helps at all. i do have 2- 3s 2200mah packs but would buy others if needed.
