Folks,
I have a query with regards to the following:-
-
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...hless_ESC.html
-
Have seen from instructions that it is necessary to initially have throttle stick high before powering up esc, waiting for certain beeps, then lowering again so that the full throttle range can be read by the esc.
-
Question....... do I need to do this every flight, or does it memorise the last range ot saw??
-
Please advise.
Rgds, Steve

I would think it would be a one time thing. But only if you remember to have your throttle fully off when you plug in the lipo afterwards.
I've had a couple of "Lesser value" esc's that would reset if I happened to not have the throttle all the way down when I plugged in the pack.
Until I rest the throttle range, I could move the throttle a quarter of the way before the motor would start to spin up.
