Default Old Goldberg Cub Kit

I am considering making an offer to a guy who has a 1990's Goldberg Cub Kit. Any recommendations about a good Brushless motor, ESC, Battery combination? I have Bookmarked the Discussion section that concerns selecting all of those, I just figure someone has done this conversion to a Kit Cub and thought I get advice.

If you want an easy cruiser a 46 brushless with a 12X6 APC prop and 4s battery would fly it around well enough. Want more power, step up to a 5s battery. If you want to hover it, 60 sized motor 16x8 prop, 6s battery.

I am going to convert my old tire Cub with a Tacon 46, 5s battery. Should fly it like a 70fs would. I had a O.S. 70 Fs in mine for a long time. flew very well.

Thank you Buzzard, I'm thinking a nice Winter build Project. I have a Goldberg with OS FS 61 4 stoke, right now, but as everything is going Electric I figure might as well get into it also.

Here are a few pictures to show how I mounted the 60 in a low wing trainer, sort of like a Goldberg Sky Tiger.

The tubing is PEX tubing from Lowes. It is very budget priced. I think it was $5.00. Threaded rod is 10-32, some washers, hex nits and you are all set. With a 5500 mah 6s battery and the Tacon 60, I get almost 25 minutes of cruising around. Some Touch and goes, slow scale flight and so on.
