I have recently acquired a cheap Dynam "I Can Fly" Trainer, and all is well with it accept for the main wing. That was busted and I had to order a new one. The problem here is, I am not sure what materials are needed to get it flying again.

As you can see, I drew in the missing pieces. The Red is the Servo linkages, or rods, and the blue is the servo mounts/horns. My concern is getting the right sizes, and parts for this specific plane. Website Links would be fantastic.

I am really a car guy, so please excuse my lack of knowledge with these things. This is my first plane, and it probably will be my last.

Now, if I was to do it, I would use (2) servo's located at your blue dots. Cut a square out, glue servo in, run wires along slot to center section, use "Y" cable to hook up both servo's to ali channel on Rx.

I find that there is a radio control club in your area called "Wayne Modelers Club". Get on their web site and find out where and when they meet. Go to a meeting and visit about your problems. Take your plane with you. I'm sure they will be glad to help out.

Thanks buzz, and eagle for the quick responses. I like that idea of using two separate servos. The pictures are a great visual for me too.

My only question now is, where can I find those red connecting rods I have drawn in? You can see one rod in the first picture you linked me.

Yeah eagle, the Wayne Modeler's are great. I have been there a few times actually, and they're nice guys and always willing to help out. I unfortunately haven't had time to stop by though.

Those are push rods. You can get a set at your local LHS or make them out of music wire.

I make mine out of carbon fiber, bamboo, dowels. I put a "Z" bend on one end, use a micro ez connector and you are all set.

I figured those might be something you would make, but I just wanted to know if you could purchase them as well.

Those EZ connectors are great, I used them for the other servo connections, and they're very convenient.

The I CAN FLY is an RTF. You said the wing was busted but what happened to the parts that were in the broken wing? Why not just transfer them to the new wing?

I acquired this plane from a family member who had thrown the wing away after it was busted. I took the plane, because I figured I could just order a new one, and it would have the parts already in it, so I'd be set to go. Since cars are my main hobby, I have very little knowledge on how to set these things up.

After I get these parts, I am looking forward to trying out another aspect of this Hobby.
