Default The search for the right brushless motor

Hi:

I'm a newbie in this brushless world, sitll using brushed motors in my RC scale boats. But I know you guys from the electric aircraft universe have lots of experience with brushless motors.

I'm looking for a high torque, brushless motor that must drive a 30cm (12 in.) two bladed propeller. Before you ask me about the aircraft design, let me tell you that I'm behind converting my old electric lawn mower to RC. The cutting element is basically a two blade 30cm propeller-like thing, spinning at 3000 rpm. Add to that that it takes 60 minutes to cut the grass, so that will be the running time.

Do you think there is someting out there that can useful for my project?

Thanks,
Robert
