Default ESC Wooo's

Have two esc that are not working properly. Both will work the planes control surfaces when battery is plugged in. Hi model, motor beeps rhythmically and motor twitches, like it's gonna turn. Electrifly motor beeps a steadier beep, but no motor turns. Both esc are probably 10-15 yrs old. Are they junk?

Thanks in advance

Have you tried another motor, to rule that out as the common issue?

Can you do the motor-as-generator test?
(Re)winding and building motors - RCG (sticky) → opening post → #40 Generator test.

It could be a poor power connection (connector or soldering) somewhere between the powerFETs in your controller and (or in) your motor.

Well I figured it out, kinda a dumb s#%t thing on my part. My transmitter throttle trim was advanced, so zero that out and all is 👍🏻
