Default Astro Flight The Electra Twin

Hi, Anybody remember "The Electra Twin" made by Astro Flight? This airplane was sold late 70s, early 80s? Used two rearward mounted Astro 25 motors. Was one of the top high performance electrics of that time. Anybody fly one back then or today? How did it perform? Must have been fast and had unlimited vertical climb? Thank you.

Default RE: Astro Flight The Electra Twin

Just to be clear, this isn't a wanted ad right?

This kit was produced by the Astroflight we know and love? There are two people I know of that should remember the plane and might be able to help out, then.

1. "Astro Bob" Boucher. He might have a set of plans that he could copy for you, and it would be perfectly legal since he should be the owner of the rights to the design.

2. Dr. Keith Shaw. He's been a big Astroflight proponent for a long time.
