Default adding flapperons,

Im at the stage of trying to learn how to land with perfect control. Im not talking about getting the plane on the ground , but actually landing with out slightly crashing or missing my target because of to much or to little speed . My guess according to what I was told by a airplane designer , that flapperons helps slow down the plane enough to land comfortably.

The question is, being that I only fly electric right now, goldberg 500, hobbico superstar, goldberg lightnin bug.....does any one have plans on how to add flapperons to the main wings ? or should I just buy a plane with flaps and practice this way ? Its a weird feeling when I can land my gliders almost perfectly , but when trying to land my planes mentioned above some how nervousness settles in and control is lost . Thanks in advance for all replies .
