Default Jumpy & Erratic Controls???

I was just out flying my E-Starter when the motor started cutting in and out and the contols seemed to stop working. Had six good flights on the plane earlier today at the same location - not a flying field so no other RC around. Am using a Hi
Tec Laser 4 radio that still showed a 40% charge and the plane had a fresh battery. Can anyone enlighten me as to what would cause that?

As I was walking it back to the car the motor would start up and stop and the servos were twitching with all the controls off or in neutral positions

Also, how to you discharge your radio battery pack? Do you just leave it on until it runs down?

40% charge is well into the red zone. You're lucky you got the plane back in one piece.

Take the tranny home, put it on the charger, and all will be fine tomorrow
