I twisted my Firebird Commander into the ground pretty hard, now it pushes itself into the ground if I try to hand launch it. I have a tape repair on the tail, it's pretty flat and I just don't see that being it, but maybe. Also when it crashed the battery became a missle ripping open the nose of the plane. I used epoxy to mend the nose, but the foam that holds the battery was ripped in two and from the two mounting pegs- The problem seems more to me like a CG problem???? How can I get the battery in the correct spot to make sure my CG is okay and has anybody else delt with this??? PLease let me know I'd love to get it back up next week.
Thanks in advance

Good Going Brunswick! I had the same trouble with my XL and re trimed the wing and tail, then after I got it flying again looked inside and saw the boom out of place, snapped in back in, and used a tiny piece of phone wire to hold it in place. I thought about a screw, but wanted to keep the weight down. Then I took out all my shims, lifts, and stuff I had used to "re-trim it" and it flew great again. Those things are indestructable unless you really spin and come into the ground hard. I mean radio destroying hard!
