Default the big dilema

OK, I have narrowed it down to two. I can get an Aerobird Challenger(3 ch with 3 ch remote) OR a Watt-age F4U Corsair(3 ch w 4 ch remote) for about the same price. I am sort of new to the rc flying stuff, which would be better for someone between beginner and intermediate. BTW replacement parts cost about the same for both. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

IMHO the Wattage is garbage. It does not fly nearly as well as the Challenger. In fact, it barely flies at all. I have flown both. I flew the Wattage once and then stripped the electronics and put them in a GWS Beaver. DON'T GET THE WATTAGE!

I ended up getting the aerobird with an extra wing, tail, battery and charger off of ebay for $125.00. Sweet deal I think. Only reason I was gonna get the wattage was due to the 4 channel radio. but bleh on that.

Good for you - the aerobird is the better plane.

Agreed. If you're picking a plane for its radio, just get a radio.
