Default Last minute checks for mf madin

I plan to madin my MF after I get out of school today[&o] what else should I check before the flight?
1) Do I need to balance the plane latterly?
How does the plane handle in the air? Should I do a rolling take-off or should I hand launch it?
Any other tips would greatly help. Thanks

MF = Mini Funtana? Definitely an ROG plane in my estimation.

Lateral balancing wouldn't hurt.

Haven't flown mine yet.

Flew it!!! It was a calm day today so I figured now would be as good as any. I moved all of the cars off my driveway so that I could get a rolling take-off. Broke ground, It climbed fast, I did notice that the controls were very sensitive so I took it easy. I got it all trimed and flying good. The first landing was into some power snow (No Damage) Second hit some ice on the ground, broke a prop and bent the GB shaft. With the luck of having another of both I swaped them out and reduced the controls. Landed 5 more times without any real problems. Overall it is a great plane and cant wait to get it up again.

well I have had an Easy 2 (Trainer) Superstar ( Trainer) Slowpoke (intermediate) Extra 300 and now a mini futana.

I havn't programed mine in with any flaps yet, all that I can sayh is that it doesnt take much control movement to get the desired affects. My first flight was a little bit unstable alot of sensitivity. Just manigable but I did reduce the control throws on the alerions to about 65% half of what I had before.

Im using a Hitec flash 5 controller with hs55 servos all around.
