Default batt eject

ok last night i was flying my e-starter when my plane ejected my batt. lucky enough i was only about 50' up and when it left my plane went vertical about 20' then nosed right in. any way no one was around and got hurt except for my prop shaft and cowl. how are u guys velcroing your batt in. i have flown 20 plus times with a strip in my plane and a strip on the batt with it never even coming loose even at full power pull ups. any way mybe this was just a fluke i hope so.

Estarter? The stock battery door worked fine on mine while I had it. In fact, it was a royal pain to get the door open to remove the battery.

I lost a battery doing some pretty violent stunts. It punctured my lipo and trashed the plane when it hit the street. Now I go to Lowes and get velcro strips used to hold rolled up cables together. I have not lost a battery since I switched to teh straps.

I've also heard of some people putting wooden or bamboo dowels into the sides of the estarter and looping an elastic band between the dowels, under the fuselage, to help hold the door shut or at least keep the battery from ejecting.
