Default Solar Panels On Wings

Hey guys need your help here ...

A Lot of people have similar ideas as me ... lets all share our knowledge of this.

I want to build a sailplane with solar panels on the wings that keep on charging the motor battery.
The conventional cells and panles i've researched on are very big, heavy and donot produce enough power.
Has any R/C technology been developed for this purpose ???
Where are the panels available from ?
What about the inner electronics ?
Is there anyone with such experience ?

Please share your coments and knowledge .

Usman.
