You'll get a wide range of opinions on this one. Some say leave it discharged. Some say leave it half charged. Some say leave it fully charged.
You know what that tells me? It tells me that it doesn't really matter much.
I like to charge NiMH packs afterward so they take that much less time to top off next time I go flying.

as Matt said, I don't think there is a right or wrong answer either..( others will tell you their "right" answer...and heck...it may be!)
but I don't worry about it...
but if I leave a battery stored for a while, I just give it a good slow charge cycle before I use it again....
