I hope this is on the correct forum. I'm building a Proctor Antic Bipe (73" span, wieght about 8lb, Axi 4130/20, 8s2p 4200, 17x8 prop). The sidethrust on the plans using a gas motor is huge at about 5 degrees. What do forumites with similar size planes suggest. Thanks.

Side and down thrust are a function of the plane's design, not its propulsion. I would recommend that you build it as designed, then if necessary, add a plywood wedge under the motor to fine-tune the thrust line.
It may turn out that you need even more right-thrust due to the higher torque levels that the AXi will produce over even a .91 4-stroke glow.
