Default Hows this setup for a slow stick?

Just hoping to get a few opinions on this setup for mt slow stick.
I'm going to use a GWS EM400 motor w/1047 prop, 11.1v 1200 mah Lipo, GWS ICH400 spped control, Futaba S3004 servos, 4chnl GWS pico rx. This is just what I have in my stock Im sure I'll make some adjustments to this but do you think it will fly good for now with what Ive got? Im waiting for a very calm day to try out but I wanted opinions first.

Thanks, Chris

Looks good but I'd use a different prop unless you need that to keep the load on the batteries down. I like the 1180 or 1260 personally.

Something tells me that going from a 1047 to a 1180 or 1260 will not do much to keep the load down.

What gear ratio are you using?

Right - I'm saying that unless you are limited to that prop because it keeps the load down, I would reccomend one of those two. Sometimes I have trouble making myself clear in writing.

Sorry,

Steve

According to this calculator

http://brantuas.com/ezcalc/dma1.asp

At full throttle, you may be asking too much of your Lipos unless they are rated at 10C or better. You are at or over the edge of what the 400 is happy with; you are already pushing the 400 with the 11V Lipos.

Can't remember the specifics, but I recall it is desirable, for longevity, to keep the 400 under 100watts.

For the Slow Stick no need to prop for speed....

Hope this helps.
