Hello guys, I cannot find a 15X6 e-propeller what should I do? Should I just get a regular glow one? What are the main differences besides weight and thickness of glow props and e-props? I am planning this setup:
Aveox F12LMR w/3.7 gear
Kokam 4S 4000mah
Castle Creations Phx 80
As for the plane I am still undecided but this should give me over 800 watts
with a 15 X 6...
I would lose almost 100W with a 14 X 7[&o].
Well any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks and best regards,
Homero

bolt on a 15X8 "E" prop and measure the current. Thinner and more efficient than a woodie, so it might not draw that much more current. The obvious solution is to just re-gear a bit higher for the 15X8 and the total system efficiency is going to be much better than 3.7 with a 15X6

Thanks guys, I might try wood... Gary I cannot regear this motor as the gearbox comes from factory. a 15 X 8 e-prop will draw too much current, well this is only software prediction, still I've ordered a 14X7 and 15X8 e-props and a 15X6 wood and see what happens in real life with a wattmeter...
