Need Help
I want to get a EDF elec. jet. I don't know what to look for because up to this point I have only purchased RTF planes. Are the ARF planes hard to put together? I asked this same question on the Jet forum on this site and no response. I guess my question wasn't technical enough for them to respond. Any help would be great.

RE: Need Help
The electric jets forum is pretty slow, especially considering that it's a holiday weekend. Besides, you only gave it 12 hours... It could take 2-3 days before someone responds, especially considering that it's a holiday weekend.
Generally speaking, ARFs span the entire spectrum, from easy to extremely difficult to assemble. Ease of assembly also depends on how much experience you have, how much general airplane knowledge you have, and how mechanically inclined you are.
If your entire experience is only with RTF planes, I wouldn't recommend jumping straight to a jet. Part of my reasoning is the quantum leap in building skill required compared to a charge-n-fly RTF, and part is the quantum leap in flying performance. It'd be like going straight from a tricycle to a Harley V-Rod...

RE: Need Help
Your rite. I guess I just got a bit impatient. I have been looking at planes for about a week and still don't know what to get. What do you think the next step should be for me? I know sooner or later I am going to have to put one of these things together.
