Default Multiplex Twin Jet question

Just bought one of these complete with 2 400 motors. Built fine and fitted a 3000mh Nimh 9.6 pack and a 35A ESC. Problem is that it just won't get into the air! Simply flies in a downward direction and land about 20 feet away. Obviously I'm doing something wrong but any ideas?

Does this plane use elevons? If it does, "reflex" the elevons. This simply means that you have to have some "up" all the time in the elevons. You'll have to adjust them. This should have been covered in the instructions.

Yes it does use elevons. I'll give that a try.

How much thrust do you have. Are your blades on the rght way eg push mode, is the motor running in the right direction, and have you checked your cg. You need to make sure you have elevator and aeleron mixing, eg Delta Wing.

All sorted now. The problem was I wasn't chucking it hard and fast enough! Flying fine now.

Glad to hear it. Enjoy the plane. I've seen videos and the ones I've seen are extremely fast and aerobatic.
