I need to know where I can find a Graupner speed 480 BB race 7.2V motor and what type of batteries and speed controller I need to use.

Can't help you on where to buy, but the batteries and ESC question can only be answered after you tell us what are you putting this in? Will it be geared or direct drive?

Hi,

you will ne a controller up to 30 A if you want some safety distance. I don't know what you can buy in the US but I would prefer Schulze controllers. A slim-40be (up to 40 A) costs about 40 € in Germany. The choice of battery depneds on the flight-time and the weight you want to reach.

MfG,
Armin
