Hey guys I have a EFLITE YAK54 with 3 cell 1500mah electrifly lipo battery, phoenix 25 and a EFLITE 400 out runner, I have been flying the bird for about 2 months,, well the everything has been great, well the other day I got it out and tossed it up into a Torque-roll and when I have it full throttle the motor/speed control just quit, so I repair the plane(nose damage) and tried it again and I flew it aroudn and when I go from 1/4 to full throttle the red light on the speed control glows when I give it full throttle right before it cutsoff,, what is getting me is how can it work so great and then just start doing this,, and how do I need to set my throttle up or speed control to stop this,,thxx

I had a Phoenix 25 go out after about the first month of use. Quit on me high up, and I lost all receiver control. Crash was ugly. I returned it to Castle Creations, and they replaced.
I thought maybe airflow was blocked, but never could figure out what happened. I've heard the "25s" are problematic, but my Phoenix 45 has been rock-solid.
Email them first for RMA #.

I had a similar problem. Try disabling the "current limiting". People who fly heli's do that for that very reason. Also, invest the 20 bux on the Castle Link. You can update the firmware with it.
