I just plugged my battery in for the first time and all control surfaces work but I have no motor. I can't even get in to the programing mode. I've read the instrutions over and over and I can't get the motor to turn or get in to programing mode no matter what I do. I think the ESC is bad out of the box. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what was done to correct it? Thanks for everyones help.

Not an expert but had the following problems with my ESC..if no response go to your transmitter and reverse the throttle it has a safety built in that keeps it from starting with high throttle so it has to see zero throttle to arm the ESC.. if you have a Futaba the esc plugs into channel 3. if JR I think its channel 1. Make sure the throttle channel end points are set to 100%...maybe this will help

I REPLACED THE ESC TONIGHT AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. THE ORIGINAL WAS A DEFECT. I PUT ONE OF MY CASTLE CREATIONS IN IT WHICH IS MUCH BETTER ANYWAY. THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT TOMMY157.

I'm glad I put my Castle in it anyway becouse it's such a nice ESC. Now I think I will replace all servos before even flying it becouse they are total junk from the factory from what eveyone is saying.
