I'm fairly sure you can't, but it wouldn't hurt to check with Castle Creations directly. They're quite good about keeping up with communications.

you connect through the servo plug that castle link has, its a servo wire on one end the converter and a usb plug on the other, and yes you can program a thunderbird 18
