I want to build a mosquito from gus morphus plans, only instead of 2 .15s (glow) motors I want to use electric motors. Anyone convert combat planes to electric? what size motors?

I've got a .15 size combat Ki-84 converted to electric. Big draggy cowl and thin wings made it a challenge. Ended up powering it with a Turbo 450 motor (multiplex brand - available @ www.eam.net ) on 7 CP1300 cells and an 8X4.5 graupner folding prop @25A static.
You could go the above route X2 for good thrust, or 2X sp400 size cobalt motors for a little less weight, more speed, and a few more $$.
e-mail me if you want more details,
Shawn
