Default First plane

Hi I'm new to R/C flight. I want to get a plane preferably ARF and at decent price $60 approx. I have some servos and radio equip. I have flown a 2 ch plane a couple of times and was somewhat successful with it. I looking for something I could fly in a park. No sticks please. I'm only 13 so I dont have a lot of money to spend except my allowance. Please help me.
Thanks H H

HH, if you go to the buy & sell area, the RCU marketplace. you could look thru there. there are alot of planes in there that you may get for a 100 or less and some of the small ones are RTF. i know being 13 you d probably really like to get a plane and just go fly,but there is ALOT to be said in building a plane. you dont have to do a 4 yr detailed warbird build. there are many nice lil balsa planes that are Easy to build, or you can get an electric plane. something like the GWS line. they go for about 30 to 40 dollars. you ll need to do SOME work but very little in comparision to a full balsa stick plane.... plus your LHS should have kits and parts available on hand, or should be able to order it for you if they dont.

maybe someone here will have a small .15 size close to RTF they could sell ya cheap. maybe you could list what it is you currently have, and maybe we could suggest things to go with it.
HTH.
let us know what you chose, and how it works for ya.

I was thinking of something along the lines of a VIRUS or Lil Luscomb from NE Sail. What do you think about these?

I see that your just south of where I live. I had a Virus (but I took some medicine and now I'm better [sm=lol.gif] ) But seriously I thought it was a great plane, it was my first plane. It flew great was a little under powered but still great to fly. It had a little meeting with terra firma from about 35ft in the air. I was coming down a little to fast and pulled up to much and the wing snapped in half. The wing landed about 15sec after the fuse. All in all it was great plane. Good Luck
