Hello hows it going out there. I was looking for some ideas. I,ve got an Axi 2212/26, Thunderbird 18, and a thunder power 3 cell 910 mah battery. I'm putting it in a super cub from hobby lobby all i have left is mounting the electrics and covering the plane. Now what i'm wondering is for my next plane i would like to scratch build something for that electric setup. Does anyone have some suggestions. I'm interested in oddball planes. If anyone knows anything about the Optica its a ducted fan plane that has a cockpit like a helicopter. It looks like a cool scale build but I'm new to scratch building planes. I've built one so far a foamy trainer with the flatout brushed setup. Skill isn't an issue. I have Patience and will learn what i need as i proceed. Thanks in advance.

OK here is the link to some free software so you can veiw the plans
http://www.freebyte.com/cad/cad.htm
Here is a couple of sites were you can find free planes You will be able to scale down as needed to fly them electric first hind when you scale something the notches are no longer standard size so some trimming will be required. http://plans.rcmodell.hu/index.html

Hope you find what you are looking for Also check out the magaine RC modelers web page they have a lot of plans that can be purchased Good luck
