Default Great Planes E-Box question...

Hello!

Just picked up the Great Planes E-Box...I've got it all loaded up and batteries charged but I have a quick question...what are the two banana plugs for next to the on/off switch? Are these to charge the field batteries in the box? If so, I guess I could charge both at the same time? 24v at 4.6amps if I did the math correctly?

Thanks for your help...hope this wasn't a stupid question! ha ha

The batteries are in parallel not series. You will need to charge at 12 V. Amperage will depend on the batteries.

OK...so set my Triton charger to 12v and since the batteries are 7ah should I go 2.3 or 4.6 amps? I'm guessing 2.3, but not sure...

If I set it at 12v, won't it false peak?

Be sure to use the Pb setting and select 12V. Standard charging is a a rate of C/10 or (7000+7000)/10=1.4 amps for 10 hours for a full charge.
