My Feedback: (10)
Another pesty newbie here. I'm mostly into glows, but built a light electric aerial photo plane. I'm using a BP A2814-6 brushless motor and a BP 40A brushlees ESC. Plane's weight is 36oz. less battery and looking for a total weight of 50 oz.. Hate to buy a LiPo battery and new charger for this one plane. Can I use Nicd batteries in this plane. Thinking something like a 8-10 cell pack. I know they will be heavier, but as far as performance and flight time I have no idea. Anyone have thoughts on doing this or suggestions as to the route I should go. Thanks for your help...Dick

I'm in the same position as you, looking for a battery for a Dragon Lady 60 conversion to an E-Flite 60 outrunner. Here is a link. I can't answer your question but can at least share my research.
