Default Air tech stealth control

I just tried my airtech stealth for the fors time, and firstly I have to say this is a REALLY CHEAP plane, the throttle control broke about 45 seconds after I started to use it but I was able to fix it, then when I pulled out the antenna, it seperated in 2 parts (I had pulled it quite hard though).

Anyway, I found the plane very hard to control, as soon as I tried to make it turn, it just kept turning (even after letting go of the control) in the same direction non stop in spirals around me until it crashed, so it was always either looping clockwise or counter clockwise and I was never able to get it out of the spiral.

What was I doing wrong? I tried giving short bursts of left/right but it seemed to do the same. It would never stop turning once it started.

Also, my most important question is:

Is this due to the lack of servos/moving flaps on this plane? I am planning on getting one with flaps and I am hoping this will make it much easier to get in and out of turns.

Am I right thinking that planes with flaps are easier to control the turns?

Thanks
