Has anybody used this charger? It balances and charges LiPo batteries.

I got this charger after I got my first electric about 2 weeks ago. All of my planes have been glo until now. This is a great charger. Not only does it ballance the pack but it dous it a bit diffrent. It charges through the main outputs of the battery and the charger reads each cell and bleeds off the high celluntill the pack is charged. Yuo can see the voltage on each cell on the display wile charging. I think this is a good all around charger. Jim

A lot of people have reported problems with the iMax line. Inaccurate voltage readings when balancing, which leads to over-charged packs. People have reported better accuracy with some of the newer Bantam Chinese knockoffs.

I just bought the iMAX B6 charger. It supposed to be an improvement over the B5. Wish me luck.

There has never been a complaint about the balancing problems with the B5 charger to my knowledge. The problem was with the B6 which I understand they have fixed.
