Just getting my GWS A10 in the air, but I have not bought any batteries for it. I have seen some people using a 6 cell and some a 7 cell. Any opinions on whick would be the better pack for the twin ducted fans. I do have a 20 amp ESC, so I might be able to use a 8 cell pack????? I am kind of new to electrics so any help would be great.

Don't use a 8 cell pack unless you plan the replace the motors often (the motors are acutally 4 cell, 4.8V rated motors, over-volt to 6 or 7 cell). I had about 35 flights on 8 cell AAA packs, switching back to 7 cell now (little performance difference).
Best bet imo is 7 cell AAA NiMh, current draw is in the 6A range.

4 to 5 min typically, if you're using the HECell AAA or Sanyo's you should get 5min++. If you want more flt time, try Li-Poly; I usually have 3 packs which gives me enough flights each time out (have other planes to fly also).
