Default HELP!! radio compatability issue!

Well today my cap 232 crashed on its first flight after two minutes or so in the air, the radio just locked up. I noticed that it had done the same thing the night before, it would just lose signal out of nowhere and glitch. Re connecting the lipo solves the problem for a bit.

My setup is Hitec flash 5 (dual conversion), hitec hfs-06mt receiver (single conversion) and cirrus crystals (single conversion).

I am thinking the crystals are the problem, but I am not sure. The last time I used the tx was with another plane of which was not retrievable

Thanks everyone!

I doubt the crystals are your problem. You said the radio worked. locked up and then worked again. My experience with crystals is that they work or don't, not many are intermittent. I'd look at the radio or perhaps batteries first.

There are only two forms for crystals 1) they work; 2) they do not work.
They are never intermittent. They never 'heal'.

Better pace to look is the Lipo. What servos at what input voltage?
Vs. what spec'd voltage max?
