Default MULTIPLEX MENTOR OR MINI MAG LOW WING CONVERSION

I wish Multiplex would come up with either a low wing sport airplane or warbird.

I have been considering of converting my Mini Mag into a low wing sport flyer, and I would like to know if anyone out there has ever tried to convert their Multiplex Mini Mag or Mentor into a low wing airplane?

Any suggestions or photos would be appreciated!

Drypipe,

Funny you should ask, I have a fellow club member right now converting a Magister, which the Mentor replaced, to a low wing twin.

Here's a couple of pics of where he's at now.

WOW! Thank you so much for the photos. I guess this conversion is possible after all. My big concern was how to make the wing fit under the fuselage.

Please keep me updated on the build!!!
