Default help choosing electric motor

I am building a old dirty birdi pattern plane .
Wht. expected 6 pound.wing span 62 inch
I need advice on motor and esc to buy that will fly this plane with authority.
Any advice on good deals and above will be greatly appreciated

You need to decide on batts first ... 5S or 6S? Do you want to go 10S later on? If so stick to 5S. But if you want to stick with 50 sized planes then 6S is the way to go ... gobs of power for 3D.

Batt

5S or 6S
3,700 to 4,900

ESC

60A-80A, I like the HpbbyCity Turnigy ones, they work great and have a built in UBEC.

Motor

AXI 4130/16 - 6S
Hacker A50/16S - 6S
Hyperion 4025/10 - 5S
Scorpion 4025/10 - 6S
Chinese 4260 (<600 KV) - 5S
Rimfire 5055/500 - 5S

Prop

15x10 to 17x8
