Default charging amp

could some one help me here a 11.1 1500 pack should be charged at 1.5 amps. but will it hurt to make it 2.0 or 2.5 amps.i dont feel like waiting all day and i have a 7 amp charger.?

If you want the most out of that battery, do the first charge or two at 0.1C for 16 hours. I assume this is a Nixx type battery, if not ignore the advice.

At 1C, it should take less than an hour and a half to charge the battery. If it is really taking "all day," then something is wrong with either the battery or your charger.

It sounds like this is a lipo pack. Unless the manufacturer specifically states that it can be charged at more than 1C (1.5A), you are taking a risk by charging at a higher rate. There are some lipos designed to be charged at higher rates; you might want to get one of them.

ok thanks for the help .ill just stick to the 1.5 amps.
