Alright, so I finally got sick of my single cylinder gas engine rattling the crap out of my airframe and being really annoying sounding in the air and came to terms with an electric conversion. The plane I will be converting is a 33% sd models yak. I have learned a little bit of the basics towards large electrics but still have alot of questions and I dont want to blow the money on the wrong stuff. So the idea I had towards the equipment goes like this. As far as the motor goes I know I am gona get the A80 hacker, but i'm not sure wether to get the A80-10 or the A80-8. I have already bought a 160 hv esc so that is for sure. But in the battery department I still need some help, I know that what I choose will have an either good or bad effect on the esc, so heres the question. I know the batteries will be 5000mah, but what would be the best for my setup as far as 5s or 6s, and either 30c discharge or 40c. Once again, I have no idea what I am doing so explanations would be well appreciated, thanks in advance guys.

First you should take a look at this e-book
EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT ELECTRIC FLIGHT
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7100376/tm.htm
Then I suggest you post some links so we can see the specs for each part of the system.
Airplane
motor and gerbox, if any.
ESC
Battery
Prop specs
Then we will know what you are planning to use and how things will match up.
The Motor, Prop, ESC and battery have to be well matched, as you realize, so we need to know the specs of each component to help you match them.
What level of performance are you shooting for? Scale? Sport aerobatics? 3D? All our pattern flying?
Once you look over the e-book, the reason for the links and the questions will become clear. Right now we are trying to help you match things based on little information. And since this will be an expensive conversion we need as much information as possible to help you get it right.
How did you decide on that Hacker motor?
What that ESC
Why a 5000 mah pack?
Ihave no ideas how you came up with these.
