RE: big problem

It sounds like maybe you have the connection from the ESC to the receiver plugged in backwards.

Also make sure that you've got the right receiver crystal, and the right type of receiver for your transmitter (JR/Airtronics requires a different receiver from Futaba/Hitec).

If you can confirm that all your connections are correct, then the next step is to start eliminating pieces one at a time by replacing them until things work. First, replace the ESC and motor with a 4-cell receiver pack to verify proper operation of the receiver and servos. Replace the ESC if the servos work properly with the receiver pack.

That's a tough one. first off, make sure the ESC isn't too close to the RX. It sounds like you are getting rf interferance from the motor, but i could be wrong. Try another RX on the bench if you can, see if that makes it go away. Another thing could be a bad crystal. Vibrations from the motor might be causing it to go haywire. Do you have full control before you throttle up??

well when i turn everything on and plug in the battery sometimes i have control then i throttle up and it goes haywire and sometimes it does nothing then starts going haywire not even when i throttle up.

Have you run thru the setup on the ESC again to verify that everything is programmed/setup correctly? Also, make sure your antenna wire is routed properly and away from items that may cause interference. And make sure you are doing these tests with the antenna on the TX up, sometimes having it down and testing works, but sometimes everything twitches, simply raising the antenna on the TX fixes it occaisionally.

As mentioned you may have a bad rec. or esc. Transmitter works with other project? may be low on batt. if you eliminated these and the problem still there, wrap the rec. in aluminum foil it may help!
