Default Indoor, RC Park Flying every Fri / Sat night til April, just SW of Chicago's O'Hare

The NightHawk RC Park Flyers invite the general public to a winter’s worth of warm, wind-free, indoor Electric RC Park Flying at the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] largest golf dome in the USA. No AMA membership required for Adults over 19! Youths - those born after July 1, 1994 - can fly 4 times and then need to get their FREE AMA membership. We’re located just south-west of Chicago’s O’Hare airport, at 500 W. Jefferson St. (3[SUP]rd[/SUP] Ave.), Bensenville, between Route 83 and York Rd. The White Pines Golf Dome is an indoor pilot’s prayer come true. It’s 300’ wide by 300’ deep and it’s 10 stories tall! As one pilot said: “It’s not like flying in a gym, it’s like you’re outside at a park!” Women, men, girls, and boys, bring your quadcopters, heli’s and airplanes to “Da Dome” and have a great time. 72 MHz radios are welcome.

We haven’t forgotten first time or newer pilots. Our instructors can be scheduled to help set up your airplanes, helicopters and quadcopters. We also have “Buddy Box” radios to help you get started. Finally, we have a Real Flight simulator on-site; but it’s not just on a computer monitor, it on an 8’ tall by 10’ wide screen. It’s so big you get the feeling you’re flying “out at the field!” The Sim is available for FREE, at least the first Friday of each month.

Doors open at 11:01 pm and close at 1:00 am every Friday and Saturday night, except for our annual AMA-only party on 12-14-2013. We are also open Sunday night, 2-16-14, because of President's Day on Monday. Entry is either $150 for a Season Pass or $10 nightly AFTER a one-time purchase of a $10 Dome Discount Card. A one-time visit is $15. Spectators are always FREE at NightHawk flying. TrueRC.com is often on-site with batteries, aircraft and equipment for sale, and the WPG Dome has sandwiches, coffee and snacks available. Contact Stan Warden at [email protected] or 630-654-8476 to schedule Set-Up or Flight Training. To see our pilots in action, go to Vimeo.com or YouTube.com and search for “White Pines Golf Dome”. Also see SuburbanRCBarnstormers.com for more Rules, aircraft sizes, and more info.

Remember, we can help Youths sign up with the AMA for their FREE MEMBERSHIP!

Yep, we average about 15 pilots a night, and usually a couple spectators.
