Default Dragonfly XRB no longer able to sideslip?

Well, I'm not sure if "sideslip" is the right term for it, as I am still new to the RC Helicopter stuff, but I don't want to say "roll". [&:] Anyway, I have one of those Dragonfly XRBs from eBay. It flew great, considering my lack of skills, but this weekend I've noticed that the heli is no longer able to fly sideways. The servo still responds and is still connected. The special half-screw post slides along its groove, but the part between the servos doesn't move much at all when the servo governing sideslip / roll moves. It moves a good amount when the servo governing pitch moves, though. That is, everything seems mechanically OK, but the behavior of that part between the servos seems wrong.

Have any of you seen this kind of problem? Any ideas how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!
