How do you make a yogurt container propeller?
Having no luck finding info on making a yogurt container prop. I've searched RCUniverse, the internet in general, tons of free flight sites, no luck. Lots of mentions, but no building info. Can anyone help me out?

RE: How do you make a yogurt container propeller?
It is relatively easy. Mark a line at a 15 degree angle from the base of the yogurt pot (the direction of this line will determine if you make a right or left hand prop). From there place the shape of your blade on the pot, and mark the outline. Repeat this for the number of blades that you want. After cutting out the blades (and sanding them so that they are all almost exactly the same shape), I glue them to a small piece of carbon fiber rod (about 1!QUOT! long). Now all you have to do is make your favorite hub style to attach the blades. For a 2 blade prop I use the plastic guide rod from the micro push rod setups. You put a hole right in the middle of it for the drive shaft, and insert the carbon fiber rods into the piece of plastic tube. Adjust the desired blade angle (note if the right size rod is used it will fit snug into the plastic tube; this will allow for experimentation of blade angle, just be sure to get both blades at the same pitch) and then glue to lock the blade angle.

RE: How do you make a yogurt container propeller?
Thanks Greg, Fozzie, and Aeroengineer 1!
I will check into the instructions and the links, and see how it goes. FYI, I am layed up with a broken leg (literally broke it hopping a fence to retrieve my plane, whatta dumb move) and I am going to try to put something together out of some zip zap, airhog, and FF parts I have laying around. I have seen these around, and thought it might be fun to try.
Thanks again!

As for the putting stuff together check out the various threads on pg 3 of this (i will post in a later edit) and you can find alot of stuff about mini flyers made from zip zaps and similar spare parts
