I happen to be an injection mold process technician. Do you have any good pictures that show these bumps?

There are several places on and part that's been injection molded that have bumps, grooves, etc. Some of them come from the parting line that separates the mold halves. Others are from the ejector pins. These sre usually the circles you see on the part. They are made when the ejector pin pushes the part out of the mold when it's still warm. Another area where you will find bumps is the hole where they push the platic through. This is usually cut off at the factory. Depending on the oart, there may even be areas where gasses are pushed through an exhaust.

Used to be a moldmaker.
