go back and reread post #55. he said it's 2 channel.
edit: yah that would be a really bad boat cause you would have almost no way of turning. it would in the air though cause it can lean. you no what somrbody should call spin master and tell them to make it 3 or 4 channel and sell it for $50. now that, would be awsome.

guys not having a rudder wont be a PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!. ive built many aa boats without rudders. they turn the same way the aero ace does in the air. hey the aero ace doesnt a rudder , it must be crap, yall think about it .and i meant both 2 and 3 channle. because spinmaster wasnt very clear on that so i put both

was the one with the elevator the flippy one. that's a good point spinmaster might of finally figured out that rc's need elevators to fly good. not saying that the aero ace doesn't just they should really make 3 channel planes.

What plane had controlable elevators? And still only 2 channel? Sure you can up and down by using elivator control rather then prop speed variation but you'd need some way to get one elivator up at a time to turn. That is why most elevator controled planes also have rudder controls.
Problem with three (or more channels) is you have to have movable servos and some way to connect to the movable surface. The cheapest way is to have pull only monofiliment (with rubberband pull back) like the Aerobird series (which I have flown for several years) and that is not really very satisfactory. In fact I'd rather fly my AAs then the Aerobird (even the Challenger) because I feel I have better control. I've lost the Aerobirds in every tree within a 1/2 mile because of bad steerability ( but always managed to get them back out - though one time I had to pay a tree climbing pro $50). Beyond ,and better, are push-pull wire connectors - like the Readytoflyfun's Preditor - which I have also flown for a couple of years. Then you have some real control - even if only elevator (but it is 3 channel with rudder control also) So - the upshot is that SpinMaster would have to go a whole new route and I think it would be an unrealisticly expensive compitition with a lot of what is already out there. They have found a really good and growing nitch market and are smart to stay in it. They can certainly use some improvments (which we all have given a lot of experimental proof) of but as big a change as 3 channel seems unrealistic untill this nitch is saturated.

the AA, and the new jet are 2 channel, two motors, one channel for each. the Tri-Fusion/hydrofoam are 3 channel, two motors, one elevator, one channel for each.
also, as monstermaker has been saying, you wouldnt need a rudder to control the plane, boat, jet, while its on water or land. the only differance water or land makes is the resistance the vehicle has to travel over. thrust differential is thrust differential, the motors do the work of the rudder, whether on land, sea, or air.
