Default AA jet problem

Ok guys so heres the deal. I got a new aa jet about 3 weeks ago been pretty good to it no smashing it and what not. So anyways 2 days ago i try it and one motors not working. I think ***? and i give it a flick it works fine. Then today it doe it again but the motor is much slower now. I tried oil and compressed air. it seems as though the motor only powers the shaft when its in a certain position so the momentum of the power going through that position carries it through the "dead zone" but only when it doesnt start in the "dead zone" it leads to an overall slower motor. I have a leftover motor from my other jet that i could use but i am afraid to switch them as previous attempts on bipes have not been successful. any ideas?

GP, I would try to swap the motors. But I would use a mechanical join. That means no soldering iron. The way I do this is to: Get a bit of shrink tube, as skinny as possible, drop it over the wire from the plane, one for each wire. Strip a little bit of the plastic from each wire. Wrap them together between your fingers. If the motor turns in the direction desired pull the shrink tube over the join and hit it with a blow drier. The plastic shrink tube should form fit over the wires. Avoid using the blow drier on the wing, it could have consequences. Tim

I have a couple of black/red C channel jets that are available for a limited time. 35 plus shipping

Could be the motor but at 3 weeks use? Could be lint jammed in the motor
shaft but it sounds like the RX is failing. The symptoms are there and soon
there will be no output to the motor at all. Take it back.
