RE: Air Hog AA Kitbashing
Kitbashing and building your own plane from scratch is the most
rewarding part of the hobby.
Some examples are shown here:

I've been working on a blog for the AA that will go into some detail as to
how to build peanut sized RC AA's. It should be up in about a month, just
in time for the summer flying season.

RE: Air Hog AA Kitbashing
I am looking forward to seeing it. I just started with this stuff and am amazed at what one can do with them. I am an electronic tech and can't wait to start modifying these planes. I guess the sky is the limit.

Can someone tell me what motor is on the AH BiPes?

flyace, you might be in the early stages of a fried RX.
I feel like the town crier, or better yet, a broken record. But if
it's not the motor, gunked prop, stuck prop.... & on & on...
then the RX is failing and soon the motor won't turn at all.

RE: Air Hog AA Kitbashing
I live close to flyace and will be able to see what the issue is on monday.
Thanks for the specs on the motors. I will be looking to upgrade them soon. I'm going to try to drop the mA draw while increasing prop speed and maybe adding a coil or cap to smooth out the motors. Who knows...
I must play....

of the failed transistors and can increase the current draw up to 4.3A's.
flyace can be back in business in no time and run larger motors to boot.
