Havoc heli shaft play and site hole

My brand new air hog heli havoc has some side play in the main rotor shaft , it this normal , it flys good ?? and also the shaft plastic part midway up has a site hole in it , should it show the tip of the steel shaft 1/2 way through the hole? see photo
