Default Gyrotor/Gyropter controller lags?

I just bought a Gyropter from a local store and I haven't yet gotten it to work properly. It lifts of no problem, outside i got it to about 3 floors up

But I have no control at all. Even pulling the stick backwards, which is supposed to cut all engines doesn't work. It just continues to roam around. I can even turn of the control, and it keeps flying for upto 6-7 seconds before going down.

Any suggestions?

Christian...

Most probably you must have the transmitter switch on the novice mode[N]. to have more precise and total control, switch on to the responsive mode[R]. It should turn off the power the moment you let the throttle down!! Have fun !!
