Of the 3 I'd pick the Cessna. However, if you are a beginner you WILL break it. No doubt about it. These planes are not that sturdy. I recommend going to a field with grass at least 1 foot tall to help cushion the crashes. Stay away from trees and buildings, poles, etc.

I have both the citabria and the cessna and both are good. The citabria is a little slower and stronger so I would give it the edge. I agree with another poster who suggested flying in tall grass this saved me many times while learning to fly with the citabria.
hope that helps

The absolute best money I spent learning to fly R/C was on a flight simulator for the pc. You can crash over and over and over on a simulator and it doesn't cost you a dime other than the initial purchase of the simulator. Won't guarantee no crashes when you fly for real, but it will give you a heck of a head start!

I voted for the vapor. I have flown many 2 channel planes with lots of success and many 3 channel planes with lots of crashes. I have the Cessna and the Vapor. I can fly the Vapor much easier than the Cessna and I am learning quicker because it is a slow flyer and I have less crashes.
wproct is right about the sim. It helps alot. but I can still fly the planes in the sim alot better because I am not that good at setting up planes yet.
