...maybe I should start looking at 2Ms again. No way am I going to win anything with this 1.7 meter competition (pattern) plane, which is red.

Brian, you legend! Glider towing the Oirish way eh Now, just tink how fast that yoke would have been pulled skywards by a YS 170! :P

Can we do that with my 150cc Extra? We could torque roll it with the glider still attached. Now that would be an interesting movie

Hi Angus
I would not try that with a YS. I'm not sure if that little prop would even move that glider.
It's a 4M that weighs 6/7 Kg with no wheel under it, just sitting on it's belly. The Pletty had it up to about 2000 feet in 30 seconds or so.
It was a good laugh though.
3 is a crowd !!
