Cellpro 10S charger
I was using my cellpro this morning and it charged one battery pack fine 10s, but the next battery pack would not charge at all. It showed 0 on the amps going to the battery after 30 seconds then it shut itself off and said done. Any thoughts of what I need to do? Besides sending it in

RE: Cellpro 10S charger
I Had a problem with my CellPro that I traced to the fuse. I had been doing a lot of 2C charging of my 2 5S pattern packs and it started showing input power problems. I took it apart to check if I could see anything and I found that one side of the fuse had melted. The fuse itself had not blown, but the plastic case had melted and corroded the tab and the contacts. I pulled the fuse out, cleaned everything and put a new fuse in. Problem solved.

RE: Cellpro 10S charger
the fuse seems to be okay. The charger is not putting any MAH into the battery, and it also does not seem to be amping itself; everything just reads zero. I guess it time to send it back. ever since i bought it i have never been able to use the plug blocker to charge my small lipo packs. oh well, i guess it back to the 1010C for now[&o]

RE: Cellpro 10S charger
I have a 10S that worked perfectly for two years and suddenly has the exact same symptoms! (I have tried 10S, 3S & 2S) I have been trying to get an address and an RMA to send it back for repair with no luck so far. My fuse is perfect and I have never had a moments trouble with it when all of a sudden it stopped working. If I can ever get it repaired I will advise what the issue is.
Thanks,

RE: Cellpro 10S charger
There are 2 common problems with the CellPro 10S charger.
As Tony mentioned, the external fuse contacts can get loose over time and actually melt the fuse as the contacts loosen and the amps/resistance climbs. I would suggest taking the top off the charger and ensure the clips holding the fuse are clean and tight.
Second, there is a fuse between the two center jacks on the top/front of the charger. Easy to test, just check resistance between the 2 center taps. If there is an open, that fuse is blown. If you look at the fuse, it looks more like a diode/resistor than a fuse but it is a fuse. If the fuse is open, you can replace it with an automotive type fuse. I can't recall what the fuse value is but will check and update this post.
You problem might not be either of those in which case you may need to send it in for repair.

RE: Cellpro 10S charger
Just got word from FMA that I will be getting a new 10s; because it is covered u der the year warranty. I thought they would fix my unit and send it back to me. So, if you guys are having trouble with your unit, and it's been less than a year; you will get a brand new one; just thought I should pass this on
